Did you know that the average person can have upwards of 250 to 300 lashes in as many as 3 to 4 layers, on each eye? It is also possible that you will shed your lashes a couple of times a year, usually during season changes. Your natural lashes have a life of approximately 2 to 3 months and will shed out at a rate of approximately 4 to 6 lashes per day, allowing a new lash to take it's place! A full set of lashes can take approximately 2 hours depending on the style and the health of your natural lashes. A proper set of lashes should have an extension adhered to all of your lashes other than weakened or very young lashes that cannot hold the extra weight. Making sure that each lash is isolated properly and no lashes are glued together (including the very tiny baby lashes) is the key to keeping your lashes healthy. YES, you can have extensions without damage to your own lashes! When you contact us for lash extensions, we go over the different styles and how to care for them properly.
